The Association for Computing Machinery does not issue formal invitation letters for visas to attend ACM sponsored conferences. ACM can however issue a visa support letter. For Visa support letters, please send all requests to the Office of SIG Services email@example.com with the following information:
- Your name as it appears on your passport,
- Current postal mailing address,
- The name of the conference you wish to attend,
- Your Registration Confirmation Number, and
- If you have any papers accepted for the conference, please provide the title and indicate whether you are the "sole author" or a "co- author"
Please note visa support letters are issued via email by PDF and the original is mailed to your current postal address.
The organizers of the conference have pre-selected hotels for the benefit of its participants. These rooms will be allocated to participants free of any handling fee - please use the online hotel booking form at https://ebms.univie.ac.at/iEBMS/reg/reg_p1_form.aspx?oc=10&ct=013&eventid=18097.
Payment for accommodation is to be made onsite at the hotel receptions. Credit card details will be transferred to the hotels to guarantee your reservations.
Cancellation policies are up to each hotel - usually cancellation free of charge is possible 14 days prior to arrival! Cancellations have to be communicated via e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org.
